The audio from the scene in Kutnai County, Idaho, where firefighters who responded to an explosion were ambushed, reveals the moment when a call was made for help.
Two firefighters were killed and one and a sniper was injured in one Sunday afternoon. The authorities later located the body of a dead person with a gun nearby and lifted the shelter-in-place order which was in place.
The Kootenai County Sheriff Office stated that the firefighters responded to a blast at the Canfield Mountain north of the Coeur D’E Alene, reported about the gunshot about half an hour later at around 1:30 pm.
In the audio from the scene, a fire fighter stated that there was a “emergency situation” and “fire -active shooter”.
