Attempt to kidnap 6-year-old in Koni Island was thwarted by parents

“So a man came, and he was trying to bite him. Then the little boy was trying to get out of him,” he said. “The man just grabbed him and started running with the little boy.”

Once the parents chased, the suspect dropped the child to the ground and ran to an intersection, showing the video.

“Parents chased only after the boy, and they caught him,” Smiles said. “It was just shocking. I am a mother myself, so … we all ran away to see what happened.”

The smile, which is not from the region, said that the locals were familiar with the suspect.

During the incident, police officials quickly responded and arrested the suspect, the New York Police Department told Fox News Digital.

The boy – whose family is from Queens – complained of minor pain and was taken to Koni Island Hospital, where he was listed in a stable position, according to New York Post,
