Arora, Colorado, police caught a suspect on Monday morning in connection with a weekend shooting, killing one woman and the other was seriously injured. Authorities identified the person as a citizen of a Venezuela, who is allegedly in the US without legal status.
Officials searched for 30-year-old Mitchell Jordan Castalono-Fonseka, which was after shooting in an apartment in North-Central Arora on Sunday morning. At the time of the incident, five children between the ages of 1 to 15 were also inside the apartment.
According to a spokesperson of the Arora Police Department, Castelano-Fonseca was taken into custody at 6 am near Mississippi Avenue and Chambers Road.
