Police is appealing for information after “significant damage” due to a Roman wall in Lincoln.
Lincolnshire police said they received reports of damage to the ancient wall and entrance between car parks in the city hall at the city hall at the bente fee at 09:18 BST on Sunday.
After an investigation, the force believes that the incident occurred after midnight and said that their efforts were now “focused on identifying a suspect”.
Counselor Joshua Wales, Portfolio holder for inclusive economic development in the city council, stated that the employees were “shocked and unhappy” from the “senseless act of barbarism”.
Wales said: “This Scheduled Annoys is part of the rich history of the city and like, our CCTV team is working with Lincolnshire police to help them identify a suspect.”
