Leeds United has signed a German midfielder Anton Statch from Hofnechem in the £ 17m deal.
The 26 -year -old, who has two international caps, joined a four -year contract.
The sixth became a summer signing for the Statch Leeds, which was promoted to the Premier League after winning the championship in the previous season.
He follows Sebstian Bornauv, Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmondson, Lucas Nempa and Scene Longstaff to join the squad of manager Daniel Perke for the 2025-26 campaign.
“I am excited to join such a good team, such a good Premier League team, and I am waiting for the next season,” Statch said, which is 6 feet 4 inches.
“My playing style, I would say I am an aggressive player. I am good in the doubles. I am good in apprehending opponents and it will be good for the Premier League. Now we will see, I will do my best.”
