The Trump administration is banning Franceska Albani, a special synergy of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which is an outspoken critic of the Israeli military aggressive in Gaza.
State Secretary Marco Rubio added steps to support him for the International Criminal Court (ICC), some of which have already been approved by the US.
Rubio stated that the US was approved Albani to directly confuse the American or Israeli citizens to confuse the ICC directly with the ICC, accusing him of disqualifying the service of the United Nations as a special relationship.
The restrictions are likely to prevent albanese from traveling to the US and will block any property in the country.
In a post on X, Albanis did not directly address the sanctions, but wrote: “[O]n more than before this day: I stand strongly and strongly in favor of justice, as I have always done. ,
The message, in which Italian -born special coordination put a thread of support for the ICC, stated that she came from the country’s founder country, where lawyers and judges “defended justice at a big cost and often with their lives”.
“I intend to respect that tradition,” he added to the post.
Albanis refused to comment to the BBC, but was quoted by Al Jazira as a “mafia style threat technique” as restrictions.
This is the latest growth by the Trump administration as it works for a campaign against the ICC, already approved its four judges.
The US last year rejected the allegations after the court last year after the court issued an arrest warrant for alleged war crimes in Gaza for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his then Defense Minister Yo Galant.
Rubio also expressed Albanis of being “unabashed antismitism, terrorism support, and being open contempt for the United States, Israel and West”.
The move is likely to provoke a terrible backlash from those who argue to accountability on citizen death from Israel’s military aggressive in Gaza.
Special coordination has long argued that the Western governments are not enough to support the rights of Palestinians in Palestinians.
His vocal stance has attracted significant support among those who accuse Israel and American leaders of arming the allegations of antisementism to silence their policies.
His critics have pointed to the language used by Albanese in the past, including a 2014 comment when he suggested that the “Jewish lobby” was affecting the decisions of the US government when he came to Israeli and Palestinians.
He has since been told that he has said that he regrets the comment, but rejected the claims that it was antisemtic.
The head of Amnesty International and former United Nations special synergy Agnes Calmard said she was disappointed with the decision to approve Albanis.
“All actors who believe in governments and rules and based orders and international laws in international law should do everything in their power to reduce and block the impact of sanctions against Franceska Albani,” she said.
Rubio said that Albanis showed contempt for America by writing “threatening letters” to several American companies, calling them unfounded allegations and recommended the ICC to chase the prosecution of companies and their officials.
“We will not tolerate these campaigns of political and economic war, which endanger our national interests and sovereignty,” Rubio said.
Albanis earlier this month Called dozens of multinational companies To stop trading with Israel, warning them that they risk complicated in war crimes at Gaza and occupied West Bank.
He said the companies “made profits from the Israeli economy” illegal occupation, apartheid and now the Israeli economy of the genocide. Israel dismissed its report as “baseless”, saying that it would “join the dustbin of history”.
Albanis has criticized Donald Trump’s plan, announced in February, to handle the Gaza Strip and displace his residents elsewhere.
“It is illegal, unethical and … completely uninterrupted because it would make the regional crisis worse,” he said in February.
The time for announcing restrictions with Netanyahu in Washington is notable, where he received an extended honor Cordon in Pentagon on Wednesday.
Albanese has rejected similar claims against him, stating to the BBC in October: “I do not take these comments and defamation lightly, but at the same time, I know it is not about me, as my predecessors knew that it was not about them.
“I also know these member states [making accusations of antisemitism] Has done nothing to follow international law. ,
His office has been contacted for comment.
Some 125 countries are the parties of Rome law who established the ICC and are preserved by it, as well as bound by their membership to maintain court decisions.
America, like Israel, is not a member of the court.
It has biased with Israel, its staunch colleague, which has been armed in the Gaza War against Netanyahu arrest warrant, while many European countries have said that they respect the freedom of the court in the case.
The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza on 7 October 2023 in response to the Hamas -led attack on Southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and 251 others were taken hostage.
According to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region, at least 57,575 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
Most of Gaza’s population has also been displaced several times. More than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed; Healthcare, water, hygiene and hygiene system have collapsed; And there is a lack of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.
