New Delhi: Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of Investigation (AAIB) on Saturday released its preliminary report on the investigation about the Air India plane accident in Ahmedabad.According to the report, “Engine N1 and N2 began to reduce their take-off values as the fuel supply to the engine was cut off.” In cockpit voice recording, one of the pilots is heard asking the other why he cutoff. The second pilot replied that he did not do so. ,Aaib said that “both engines were recovered from the site of the debris and quarantine in a hanger in the airport.” This further said, “The components of interest have been identified for further examinations and have been summarized.”Air India’s Boeing 787-8 flight AI 171N Root for the investigation center London Gatwick, which crashed at a medical hostel complex soon after the take-off from Ahmedabad last month, killing 270, including 241 in the aircraft. A passenger survived the accident. This was the first time that the best-selling wide-body Dreamliner or Boeing 787 suffered a deadly accident, resulting in a loss of hull.
