As we grow up, our bodies change, and an undesirable result is that we become more vulnerable to age-related issues. In particular, old age is characterized by an important physical and mental decline. But why is it that some people thrive in their later years, while others face many health challenges before time? It is as if some people are faster than others.
To get to its bottom, scientists at the University of Duke, Harvard and Otago have unveiled a game-changing tool called Dunedinpacki. It uses a single AI brain scan to find out how fast a person is biologically in aging. This is changing in the way we track aging and long -term health risks associated with it.

How fast we are in the brain is the secret
Dunedinpacney was named after the Dunedin study, which followed more than 1,000 people since his birth in the 1970s. Researchers analyzed decades of data, looked at factors such as blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, glucose, kidney function and even dental health to come up with a unique “aging score” for each participant. The new MRI-based AI brain scan can predict this score with amazing accuracy from the scan taken at the age of 45.
The aging of the brain leads to the decline of both physical and mental
Participants whose aging scores were fast showed early signs of memory-related brain change, such as shrinkage of hippocampus. Following studies of people between the ages of 52 and 89 have shown that rapid dementia was likely to develop 60% more than those aging, there is a possibility of 18% more with chronic diseases, and 40% more likely to die within a period of 40% that was slow age. This data indicates that brain aging and overall physical decline are closely connected.

Dunedinpacni is the future of preventive healthcare
The team believes that Dunedenpacki may change the landscape of preventive drug. If it was possible to see health risks quickly through the AI brain scan, then risky individuals may be motivated to change healthy lifestyle (eg, diet, exercise and stress management). It can also help healthcare providers to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and to slow down the progression of age -related diseases.

Kurt’s major takeaways
Dunedinpacni is a great device that provides a non-invasive and powerful window in biological aging that could never perform traditional blood tests. A single AI brain scan offers a lifetime of health insight. It comes at a very important time because chronic diseases are increasing. This can only be one of the major ingredients in predicting health results and coming up with personal welfare strategies.
