Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Thursday that it would make a public hearing in each assembly constituency when it was physically attacked during the ‘public hearing’ at her official residence in civil lines.
Announcing the verdict, Rekha Gupta recalled her father’s lesson, “When I was in college, Papa gave me a car to drive. One day, a big accident happened. I got scared and still scared to touch the car. Then Papa said that there were accidents in life.
He said, “Today, his same lesson comes to mind again. Yesterday, another accident happened, but I cannot stop fighting for the interests of Delhi.”
The Chief Minister insisted that women have the strength to face adverse. “Anyway, women have double the strength to fight through difficulties. They have to pass countless tests to prove themselves. I am also ready! Now, public hearing will be not only at my house but also in every meeting of Delhi. Your Chief Minister, at your door, at your door,” Gupta said.
On Wednesday, the Delhi CM said that the attack would never “shake their determination” or to serve the people “will weaken his resolve”.
“Such attacks can never shake my determination or weaken my resolve to serve people. Now I will be with you more energy and dedication,” he said in a post on X.
Attack at CM residence during public Sunavai
The Delhi CM was announced after physically attacking during his weekly public hearing (Jan Sunavai) on Wednesday. Police said the accused was identified as Rajeshbhai Khimjibhai Sakariya, who was presented as a 41 -year -old auto driver from Rajkot in Gujarat.
According to the people in the CM’s office, the person moved forward, while the Chief Minister was interacting with the citizens, handed him a piece of paper, began to speak loudly, used the explains, and then “attack” it.
The CM’s security team and others overcame the attacker present on the spot and handed it over to the police. A first information report (FIR) has been filed under the classes related to the attempt to murder. Police said their motives are not yet known, and it is not clear that he worked alone.
Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, all seven members of the party from Delhi, in which Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal visited Gupta at his residence to inquire about his health. Delhi BJP MPs described the incident as an “accident”.
