Tampa, Fla. – We all remember it.
Two years ago, Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani faced a lifetime bat, before the team Japan reached the ground to claim their third world baseball classic title. Team USA had a tying run on the base with no outsider in the ninth innings, when Ohthani, Samurai used to inspire moonlight, a double play as Japan, Trout outAnd closed the book on a tournament which was no less than epic.
It is possible that next time the team will get a slight help to the USA from one of the most talented sloggers in baseball history. He is definitely open for this.
“I think it would be very funny,” Yankis outfielder Aaron Judge told Fox Sports on Wednesday. “It just depends. See where I am in my career at that time. Hopefully they still want me.”
The judges will enter their age -34 season next year, when 2026 WBC is going to be. The roster will not be finalized until next February.
If the judge agrees to play, it will first participate in the international program.
“It would be good to represent your country,” said the judge. ,[Team USA] It was made in the final, but he did not win it. So we will win it. We will see We will see. “
A couple’s companions of the judge are also interested in sueing their countries. Infielder Jazz Chisholm said he would play for Great Britain in next year’s WBC. Shortstop Anthony Wolpe was asked to play for the team Italy at 2023 WBC, but he said that he would play only Team USA, and he would like to participate in the next year’s program. Two years ago, Yenkis attended the WBC three players, including Gleber Torres, Kyle Higashioca and Jonathan Loiciga.
The judge was admitted to join the roster of the team USA in the winter of 2022, but he was a little busy navigating his own free agency at that time. In addition, he had abolished a piece of 2022 campaign; Scoring 62 domestic runs with media and fan frenzy, which can take toll on anyone with a historical record breaking.
“If I sign in with the giants, I sign in with the padress, sign elsewhere, not me but for me to learn my colleagues, my coaches. “I did not want to mess up for four weeks in the world baseball classic, and then suddenly, I was the spring of the last two weeks or whatever it was. It was my main focus. But now, I will stay here for a long time.”
When the two -time MVP Award winner eventually signed a nine -year agreement with Yenkis and was named captain in December of that year, his main priority was spending time with his comrades. In particular, he wanted to ensure that he wanted to know the possibilities in the organization, and the manager of the Yankise Aaron Boon said that the judge felt an additional responsibility as captain for early coming for spring training and coaching small players of the team.
The circumstances are now different, and it is safe to say that the team will want the judge’s bat in the USA lineup. Even without him, manager Mark Derosa piloted the most star-stad roster in WBC history. In 2023, Team USA’s 30-Man Rosters consisted of 21 all-stars and four MVPs, including Trout, Muki Bates, Paul GoldsChamidt and Clayton Korshav. Although he came close to two years ago, the team was won at the last and only WBC Championship 2017 of the USA. The first three installments of the tournament, which began in 2006, was won by Japan (twice) and Dominican Republic.
Team USA must be hungry to recover its championship and trim the difference between Japan. As last time, large names participating in the event can create a wave effect in Major League baseball. We already know that the judge team wants to see the USA picking up the trophy. It may be that in the next spring it will be its et-Bate which we will remember for the coming years.
