Amidst the widespread cracks of the Trump administration on crime in the country’s capital, a woman was shot dead in a wide day light at Northeast Washington, DC – most of the locals are considered safe.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers were found to have a woman, who was shot several times after 11 am on 3300 blocks of 15th Street. DC Fire and EMS took the unconscious woman to a local hospital, where she was declared dead.
Homeoid detectives are investigating, although no suspect has been identified.
President Donald Trump on Monday made MPD federal under Section 740 of the Columbia Home Rule Act district, which allows the President to take emergency control of the police force for 30 days.

Within a few hours of the announcement, a man was locked in the Logan Circle neighborhood of DC, according to a report Local affiliated Fox 5DC
According to the report, the victim, 33 -year -old, Timer, 33, were shot several times and declared dead shortly after the attack.

While DC Mayor Muril Boseer has seen violent crime in the capital at its lowest level in 30 years, the city’s records show violent crimes, including robbery and murder, skyrocketing-pandemic.
According to DC Records, a few neighborhoods were exposed to some neighborhood with violent gun offenses from 2022 to 2023, 460% cities, 240% and 216% in Brightwood with violent gun offenses from 2022 to 2023.
Homoids 500%in the South -West/Waterfront and H Street neighborhood, 400%in Greenway and 233%in Cardox/Shaw, show records.

Trump said that later he can declare a national emergency to increase crime if the Congress does not reach the board.
“You can’t have 30 days,” he said during a news conference at the Kennedy Center. “We’re going to do it very hurry, but we want extensions. I don’t want to call a national emergency, but if I have to do, I will.”
