In a letter left in one of the scenes of crime, calling himself “son’s son”, David Berkovitz claimed that the voices were ordering him to kill him-He was starting to kill him in summer of 1976, he went to a 13-month-old impulsive murders in New York City, in which six dead and seven were injured.

Berkovitz terrorized New York City by killing six people in random random firing from July 1976 to July 1977: New York City:
29 July, 1976: Jodi Valenti and Donna Lauria, 18, were shot, were shot as they were sitting in a steep car in the bronx, NY Lauria’s death immediately died to her neck from a gun bullet. Valenti survived.
