A US tech company says that its chief executive allegedly left a woman in a clip in a clip, hugging a woman after being caught on a large screen in a coldplay concert.
The astronomer said in a statement: “Andy Biren has resigned, and the board of directors has accepted.”
The clip showed a man and a woman hugging on a huge screen in the Arena in Massachusetts’ Foxboro, before they suddenly passed through the duck and hide from the camera.
The pair was identified as Andy Bayran in the US media, a married chief executive officer of astronomer and Christin Cabot, an officer of the firm. The BBC video has been unable to independently confirm the identity of any person.
The company’s statement said on Saturday: “As stated earlier, astronomer is committed to the values and culture that has directed us since our establishment.
“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
The firm said that its board would start a discovery for the next leader and will continue to serve as an interim CEO.
The pair video for music at Wednesday night concert and was trying to hide quickly, trying to get millions of scenes.
After seeing the pair duck, Coldplay chief singer Chris Martin told the crowd: “Either they are having an affair, or they are very shy.”
The astronomer announced that it was starting an investigation into the relationship and kept the CEO on leave soon after the video went viral.
