Toll Ships Race Aberdeen – The largest tourism program in Scotland this year was labeled – below the sail.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to participate to see dozens of impressive ships around the world.
Scottish band Dacon Blue played a harborouside gig as part of the warm-up for four days on Friday night, before the weekends found things in the weekend.

The race is designed to encourage international friendship and training for young people in the art of sailing.
Which ships are participating?
The vessels are divided into four classes, with large sailing vessels to small single-masters boats.
Dar Mlodziezy from Poland is the longest 62.5 m (205 ft) tall.
Built in 1982, he started his long ships in the same year.
His name means “gift of youth”.

The sailing distance of Aberdeen from the Kailao of the Father Union is about 7,500 nautical miles (13,890 km).
The captain of the Norwegian vessel Sorlandet, Captain Tor Skyzelbred-Noodsen, is keen on the event.
“This is a gathering of these vessels, it’s a beautiful view, it’s marine history, we can show that for the people of Aberdeen,” he told the BBC Scotland News.
“But most of it is for youth to join ships, it is changing their lives.”
He said: “As an alumnus at the University of Aberdeen, I am really eager to come again.
“Even if it is a few decades ago, I clearly remember attraction, friendly people, huge culture, and all friends made by me.”

Where is the best place to see Aberdeen?
The vessels will be berth in Waterloo Quay, Regent Quay, Trinity Quay, Upper Quay, Jemison’s Quay and Blacks Que.

The main entrance of the port region will be through the Marischal Street. Many ships will be open to visitors during their time in Aberdeen.
What is entertainment in long vessels of Aberdeen?
Later from Decan Blue on Friday night, other gigs will include the Kaiser Head.
Additional attraction will include free live music, and street food stalls.
In addition to the main names, other acts appear in tide lines, Calum Bovi, Glasswagas, Brooke Combe, Little Kick, Capolos and busy collective.
Event organizers say that there will also be a “lively” line-up of live music including Scottish Trade, Jazz, Ephrobat, Hip Hop and Latin Sol.
The line-up consists of local singers as well as a contingent of young artists.
Young children will be fulfilled for attraction in a family area in the qui of Blaikie, including a huge sandpit.
