The former advocate of Jeffrey Epstein says that he believes that the humiliated financier may have helped kill themselves in jail, but claimed that anyone other than Epstein was responsible.
“It is clear from the evidence that Epstein committed suicide,” Attorney Alan Darshovitz has written in a new Wall Street Journal Op-ed. “It is unclear whether they were assisted by prison personnel. It is likely to me, depending on the evidence of the allegedly broken cameras, transfer the guards during the transfer and relevant time period.”
Epstein’s 2019 death in federal custody inspired the storm of conspiracy principles. Critics, including Epstein’s brother, have rejected the idea that he killed himself, Dr. Michael Baden, an independent observation of his body examination and a series of other factors in the case, includes the lack of security footage and pending push for bail.

In a joint memorandum released earlier this month, the FBI and the Department of Justice announced that the review of Epstein’s case files had been completed. Officials said that “no client list”, “no additional files related to the investigation could be released and his death was actually a suicide, as found in the previous federal investigation.
In the OP-Aid, Darshovitz confirmed the government’s claim that Epstein did not make a “client list”, but said that many alleged “clients” accused were interviewed by the FBI, whose names have been resumed and sealed in court.
