Police said 22 -year -old Raymond Budherian was arrested at his house on Tuesday and booked on suspicion of murder.
Police said the victims on Monday morning got the officers for a wellness check after calling the officers on 4700 blocks of White Oak Avenue. Both Kya and Delaka were declared dead on the spot.
During his investigation, the detectives reviewed the surveillance video, spoke with friends and family and discovered a pre -radio call for a potential theft suspect at home at around 4 pm on July 10, according to a news release from LAPD.
At that time, the police said they were unable to enter the property because it was “extremely firm,” said Lapd Lieutenant Gai Golan. He performed a flyover with an aircraft, which did not reveal any clear indication of trouble or forced entry, he said.
They wound, cleaning the scene, but seeing the monitoring footage from that day, they found that the suspect stopped a fence to go to the property.
The release of Lapd said, “While there were no signs of forcible entry or trouble at the location during that investigation, it is now believed that the suspect got entry into the residence through an unlocked door,” Lapd’s release said.
Police said Kay and Delaka returned home, while Budherian was inside, resulting in a shooting resulting in a shooting. They were found in separate rooms and were shot several times. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
He was arrested on Tuesday by members of Lapd detectives and a FBI fugitive task force, as he used security camera video and facial identification software to identify them.
Court records suggest that they have a comprehensive history of violent crimes, but in those cases the allegations were eventually removed.
