Ker County, Texas – Kerville residents, who were standing on the streets on the streets on the streets on Friday to welcome President Donald Trump, said their visit brought hope and comfort – and marked a significant step in the city’s long road for treatment and reconstruction.
The President and the first female Melania Trump visited the area to assess the destructive damage and met the families of the victims of heartbreak six days after a powerful flash flood and died at least 103 people and disappeared after the talk of more than 22 feet of the River about 160 Guadalup river.
Some spectators waited for hours in Baking Texas Heat, just to catch a glimpse of the president’s motorcycle. A roadside portable message board displayed a temperature of 87 degrees Fahrenheit.

Local people told Fox News Digital that the President’s compassion in the time of crisis has inspired him and his presence has attracted national attention to the small, tight-sore city. Many people also said that their visit highlighted the wave of local volunteers, as neighbors have gathered to help those who had lost the loved ones or whatever they had.
Aliz Tribes, who works at a rehabilitation hospital in Hunt, said Trump’s visit was an integrated moment.
“It is very important,” the tribes said, who were still shaken by the tragedy of the previous week. “Our country needs to pull together nor indicate the fingers who are right or wrong – but to come here and help us and rebuild our community.”
He said, “His presence here is very hearty. Everyone is pulling together and I have never seen anything,” he said. “I just feel that he needs to see that we are behind him and we appreciate his support for our community.”
Larande Boyd, 30, a 30 -year -old Kerville resident and member of Republican women at Ker County, said Trump’s visit assured the locals that they were not alone. He said that the grief for the families of the victims may be very raw to process some completely, but Trump’s journey will be comfortable over time.

Police say that those who obstruct Texas recovery efforts’
“Status, destruction – it’s difficult for all of us to hold our head and wrap our head around,” Boyd said. “He is going to ensure that we have resources that we need reconstruction and support.
Boyd, like others, reported that Trump has shown continuously in disaster areas – even while being out of office – and attracted contradictions with slow reactions from his predecessor.
“You did not see any four -year -old. It’s a comfort for me that his people care,” he said. “He sends them down to ensure that we want? The President I want. This is what I have voted.
Chris and Judy Johnson, a long time resident of Texas who lived through major floods in 1978 and 1987, stated that Trump’s time for traveling was right. It is not too early to intervene, but enough to indicate real concern, he said.
“If he had done so earlier, it would have been an distraught,” Chris said. “Now it is just showing support and I think it’s a big, strong step that tells everyone that he cares. He always shows strong leadership in the times of disasters and crises.”

“I think the most important thing is to say for him, ‘We are praying for you,” Judy said.
Trump said for his share that he and the first woman were “to express the love and support and suffering of our entire nation”.
“Throughout the country, the hearts of Americans are shattered,” Trump said in a round table with the village Gov Greg Abbott and other officials. “We are full of sorrow and destruction. It is a loss of life, and unfortunately, they are still watching. My administration is doing everything in his power to help Texas.”

Additionally, he told Fox News’ Will Can feel bound to come here. “This is a community that has been done through a lot, and I wanted to show support – not with words, but with actions,” Trump said.
Many described Kerville as “Trump Country” and said that his support removed souls in a moment of deep sorrow. Trump received around 78% of the votes in County last year.
For example, Brock Semingon said he waited on the road for two hours to see the President.
“Is a wonderful president … he is supporting us,” he said. “Ker County voted mainly for President Trump and we have their support. It is just something we needed as a community. But to see it here we mean to support us personally. He has a great heart.”
Church volunteer Gloria Neil said that he spent the morning to hand over water and food before waiting in the summer to see the President. He said that his journey will have a significant impact on grieving families.
“I waited this summer for several hours to see him,” he said. “We are very privileged to see him … to see us. Let us know that he cares.”

Sarah Stewart said that Trump’s presence symbolized a strong leadership at a time when the country and the community needed unity. He said that politics should not come to play during these times.
Stewart said, “We need good leadership at a time in this way. It is important. And people want to rally around something that affects us all.”
“The President is the leader of our entire country. He is a leader for all Americans and it goes to show only in small cities and small counties. When the tragedy attacks, he is making sure that we will find what we need.”
