The Foreign Department will prune around 2,000 employees on Friday as it launchs its restructuring plan.
An internal memorandum was broadcast on Thursday evening by Michael Rigas, Deputy Secretary, Management and Resources, announced that domestic workers affected by the decrease in the force (RIF) would be “informed” in the coming days.
About 1,800 people will be affected, Fox News has learned.

“The department, bureau, office and domestic operations have increased considerably in the last 25 years, and the bureau and offices have been fond of the capacity of the office with clear, over -witness or duplicate mandate as a result of clear, over -witnessed or duplicate mandate to rapidly respond to emerging hazards and crises or to effectively pursue the US’s modesty interests in the world.”
The official said that “there are more than 700 domestic offices for 18,000 people.”

“This much, as we said, covers fruitless offices and takes some of these cross-cutting tasks and takes them abroad in the regional bureau and our embassies, for those who are diplomacy, they need to be able to complete the President’s foreign policy to empower them with resources and officials.”
State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce on Thursday warned that the agency would quickly proceed after the Supreme Court stopped the prohibition of the lower court, which prevented the administration from implementing the cut of widacle force in federal agencies.

A senior official said that there is no plan to close the foreign and outpost to the foreign closure. He said that the Foreign Department will work to maintain the dignity of the affected workers.
“We are going to work to maintain the dignity of federal workers,” the official said. “We want to be sensitive to the process and make sure people have resources that they need … and make sure everyone is treated with respect.”
