Union officials announced on Friday that a farmwork was killed when he said he was injured during an immigration enforcement raid on the California Canbis Farm.
“We can sadly confirm that a farmwork has died, as a result of yesterday’s immigration enforcement action they have died of injuries,” United Farm Workers ” Announcement on X Said.
On Thursday, the protesters collided with the authorities as the federal immigration agents raided Glass House Farms in Camerilo and another site in Carpinteria. The video footage showed the officers using tear gas to disperse the crowd.

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott said that 10 illegal immigrants in Camerilo farm were found to be unaccounted of eight of them, and there were investigation for child labor violations in the glass house.
“This is California of Newsom,” said Scott.

The Trump administration is conducting raids in Southern California, targeting criminal illegal migrants despite protests from local and state officials.
The Sangh has reduced operations, stating that the workers were described as “chaotic raids” and said “they are completely unaware of workers including American citizens.”

“These violent and cruel federal actions terrorize American communities, disrupt the American food supply chain, threatening life and different families,” it said in an earlier statement. “There is no city, state or federal district, where people are legal to be brown and to work in agriculture. It is legal to stop these raids immediately.”
