Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav on Friday shared two videos on X, highlighting the progress of cheetah conservation efforts in Kino National Park in Madhya Pradesh.In one of the clips, two adult male cheetahs, fire and air, can be seen leisurely in grasslands after a successful hunting-fed and fed well. Originally translated from South Africa in February 2023, these cheetahs were released in the open forest across the Kuno River in December 2024, coinciding with the International Cheetah Day.Prior to his release in Palpur Eastern region, both of them spent more than a year of protective enclosures.In the second video, cheetahs are the male cubs of Asha, who rest peacefully in the wild after their own hunting – another milestone in the ambitious project Cheetah. Born in December 2023, the cubs are now just over a year old. His father, Pawan (also known as Oban) was one of the first cheetah to familiar with the virgin, but is sad in August 2023.The release of cubs of hope in the open forest is being seen as a positive step towards rebuilding and maintaining the cheetah population in India.Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had previously welcomed the move, saying that it not only strengthens the wildlife population of the state, but also adds momentum for tourism in the region.
