The possibility of watching 24 -time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic to a place in the Wimbledon final takes world number one to a Jannik Sinner, one mouth watering, but fitness concerns remain before the Friday match.
The 38 -year -old Djokovic fell late in his quarter -finals against Flavio Koboli, but raised himself to wrap the victory and progress.
Meanwhile, Sinner on Monday hurt his right elbow after slipping into the first game of his fourth round tie with Grigor Dimitrov.
The Italian eventually proceeded after his opponent retired through an injury, but Ben Shelton had heavy strapping on his elbow in his quarter -final win.
Sinner stated that he would be “100% fit” to face Djokovic, but Serb is not so certain and canceled a fixed practice session on Thursday.
Sinner canceled a scheduled session on Tuesday, going inside the house to hit some lightly, while he was waiting for the results of a scan.
Djokovic may have done a similar way – but it still suspects its fitness.
