Texas State Sen Angela Pasteon announced on Thursday that she was filed for divorce from her long -time husband State Attorney General Kane Pasteon.
The state senator wrote in a social media post, “Today, 38 years after the wedding, I filed for divorce on the Bible ground.”
“I believe that marriage is a sacred covenant and I honestly chased reconciliation,” she said. “But in the light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it respects God or is in love with his, his children or Kane to stay in a wedding.”
Ken Pasteon has been currently running against Republican Sen John Cornin for a long time in next year’s GOP primary, taking shape as a broating and dirty Senate enrollment fight.
