A few days after the flash flood, the mountainous country of Texas was destroyed, more than 100 people died, three people died in New Mexico, as the monsoon rains caused flash floods.
A man and two young children, a 4 -year -old girl and a 7 -year -old boy, were swept away by flood waters on Tuesday, Rudoso village said in a statement. The situation in the popular summer retreat was so serious that an entire house was swept away on the camera.
“Our hearts are broken to families who have lost their loved ones in this terrible tragedy,” Mayor Lynn Crawford said in a statement.
“The entire village of Ruidoso expands our deep sympathy and compassion to these bereaved families during this unimaginablely difficult time. We are united in our grief and our commitment to support each other as we face this devastating loss together.”

The village said Rio Ruidoso rose a record-breaking to 20 feet, which is five feet high than its previous record.
Last year is attributed to the devastation for torrential rains over the burn scar areas due to the south thorns and salt fire.

A village in Ruidoso Media Release said, “The Emergency Crew organized a 50-60 Swift-Water Rescue during the event.”
In the evening the water started again and the search and rescue were scattered to the city for missing people, while public work employees cleaned the debris from the roadways. Some cars were left stuck in mud.

New Mexico village Mitchell Lujan Grisham said on Facebook, “Tonight, I signed an emergency declaration request to receive federal response teams and immediately repair resources on the ground. We have been encouraged to know that additional federal resources are already on the way.”

“New Mexico is collecting every resource we have, but Ruidoso’s village needs federal support to overcome this disaster. We have seen that Texas has received federal resources that they have a strict need, and Ruideoso deserves the same immediate response,” he concluded.
