A French Olympic Fanner’s contaminated kiss was sufficient to clean a doping charge for the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) asked Yasora Thibus to ban the competition for four years after conducting positive tests for Annabolic Material Oasterine in January 2024. An international fencing tribunal initially approved the Thibus, allowing him to compete in the Paris Olympics.

However, Wada challenged the explanation that Thibus was “contaminated through kissing with his then partner, using a product with Oosterine without his knowledge,” CAS said.
After being accepted by the judges, Cass approved the Thibus that he was contaminated with his American partner in a period of nine days.
The court said on Monday, “It has been scientifically established that an osterine dose similar to the dose contained by Ms. Thibus, then the partner would have left a sufficient amount of osterine in saliva to contaminate a person through kissing.”
