Manny Machado of San Diego Padress received his 2,000th career against Arizona Diamondback on Monday night, with a sharp singles of diving shortstop Garaldo Peromo.
The milestone hit the fourth innings from the hit Arizona Starter Zack Gallon. Machao received a permanent ovation from the crowd at Petco Park, where he has been a fan since he joined the Padress in 2019 as a free agent.
All-star slogger participated in the first left ground for its 1,999th hit.
The fifth active players and 297th all-time were formed to reach Machado Milestone. He is a 350 Homer of his age -32 season or less and 12th players to be 2,000 hits.
Machao made his debut with Baltimore in 2012 and got 977 hits with Oriols before doing business with Los Angeles Dojers on July 18, 2018. On February 21, 2019, he made 73 hits with Dozers before signing as a free agent with Padress.
He has 950 hits with Padress, which is fifth in the franchise list. The Hall of Famer Tony Gwin did 3,141 in his 20 -season career.
Machado was voted for the initial third Basman for the National League all-star team this year.
