During a live performance, a large fire in a circus was caused by a defective washing machine, BBC Scotland may reveal the news.
Firefighters were called for fire in a trailer at Big Kid Circus in Glenorothes, Murali, after 19:00 on Thursday.
The Kingdom of Kong Show Circus, which has a 30 feet (9 m) long animatronic gorilla, began at 18:00.
The FIF Council confirmed that the fire broke away from the big top tent and no one was hurt in the audience.
Lisa McCain, the service manager of FIFT Council, told BBC Scotland News that the event was contacting the event organizers after the incident.
“The fire originated from a defective washing machine in a box van, which was away from large top tent and any attendees.
“It was extinguished rapidly and thankfully there were no injuries.
“Scottish Fire and Rescue has said that this area is now safe and events are going on according to the schemes.”
Big Kid Circus has been approached for comment.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it had sent two equipment to the warout playing grounds.
Evening show marked the fourth of 10, planned in the city.
Last month, Circus visited Motherwell, Kambarnauld and Falkirk.
It has future dates for Balloch, Kilmarnock and Carlisla during summer holidays.
A scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 19:04 on Thursday, 3 July, for a vehicle report on Pinkan Road, Glenorothes.”
He extinguished the fire in a lorry and said that there was no news of the number of casualties.
