Matthew Van Der Poult excluded Tedes Pogakar in a sprint finish to win Ted Day France’s Stage two and claim the leader’s yellow jersey.
The Dutch Rider, who won the same platform in 2021, placed the Slovenian on the line after moving upwards with 500 meters to last this year’s tour, rolling of 209.1 km from Lauwin-Plank to Baulogne-Sar-Mear.
Two -time champion Jonas Winggard finished third behind his great rival Pogkar, while Britain’s Oscar only crossed the line in sixth place.
