A new documentary questions the 2015 murder of an Irish-born person in its northern Carolina’s house.
Jason Corbett’s American wife, Molly Martens, and her father, FBI agent Thomas Martens confessed to kill the Corbett on August 2, 2015, but said that he was working in self-defense after the corbette, when Corbett clearly tried to choke his wife.

A Netflix documentary titled “A Deadly American Marriage”, which was a premiere on May 9, follows the case and many of its dull questions, which contains interviews with both family parties including two children, Jacks and Sara, along with Molly and Thomas Martens, along with Molly and Thomas Martens.
Filmmakers also spoke with Corbett’s sister, who lives in Ireland and eventually two children of their brother were detained with their first wife as she was listed as her legal guardian if anything happened to her.

Sara told Fox News Digital that she did not think her father got justice.

“I definitely don’t think justice has been served. I don’t think it can be served at any time, but definitely not what Martens was given,” he said.
Now the author of a memoir, “A Time for Truth,” Sara says that she felt that the documentary has portrayed both her family and Martens correctly.

While the film leaves the audience with questions, Sara is firm in her faith in what happened to her father.
“Everyone knows that I believe Molly and Tom killed my father. It is my belief,” he said. “But it’s not what he was convicted. There is a lot of evidence [in ‘A Time for Truth’] This indicates that he is not shown anywhere else. Therefore, I think the book has a lot of expansion. ,

Corbett and Molly Martens met in 2008 after the death of Corbett’s late wife, who faced asthma attack. Corbett then advertised for an AU pair to help his two children take care of his two children with his late wife and served Molly. He was engaged in 2010 and married in 2011.

A former northern Carolina FBI agent and prosecutor who knew about Thomas Martens, he said that he was a talented agent who looked after a team of employees in Grinsborough.
“He had a good reputation – a very good reputation,” Chris Switekar, now a lawyer, told Fox News Digital. “He was in the FBI’s Greensboro office for a good time. I believe he was a supervisory agent in Greensboro, which meant that he was probably in charge of 15 or 20 agents in a beautiful active office in the bureau.”

Svekar said that Thomas Martens would have experienced a lot of interrogation, and this would help him as the police questioned him in the murder of Corbett.

“Without a doubt,” Swecker said when he was asked if Thomas Martens’s professional experience would help him in questioning. “He knows where the inquiry is going when he asks a question and … he is trying to remove the evidence or point piece. It’s a chess game, if you are trying to save your daughter and your daughter for example.”
