Prominent Democrats sent messages of doom and sadness instead of the celebration on 4 July, portraying Ire from a crowd of critics. Many messages included a warning about the dangers for the country coming out of the Trump administration.
Former vice -president Kamla Harris wrote in a post on X, “This fourth, it takes a moment to reflect me. Things are still difficult. They are going to spoil before it improves.” “But I love my country – and when you love something, you fight for it. Together, we will continue to fight for the ideals of our nation.”
Many social media was in a hurry to tell users that Harris dropped former President Joe Biden and former first female Jill Biden from the photo. Others made fun of one of the famous phrases of Harris, saying that the country was “unbalanced with what has been done.”

On July 4, on the left, is celebrating with protests while on the right one sees a patriotic revival.
The old boss of Harris, former President Joe Biden posted a more mild message, while encouraged Americans to “fight” to maintain democracy.
Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama also said with his warning that “the core Democratic principles are constantly under attack.” He argued that the word “we” “is the most powerful word” in our democracy, and used the slogan of his first presidential campaign as an example of him.

In his 4 July post, Sen Berney Sanders appeared to support Trump Anti-Trump “No Kings” movement.
Sanders wrote, “On July 4, 1776, the Americans said: not to the Kings, not for dispotism. On July 4, 2025, across the country, the Americans again said: No Kings, no Despotism,” Sanders wrote.
In response, many social media users reported that, unlike a king, President Donald Trump was elected.
