Police have started an investigation into the murder after an 85 -year -old man was found dead in an property in South London.
Officials discovered at the address on Churchmore Road in Streetham on Friday afternoon.
The Met police said that the person was declared dead on the spot and had “several injuries”.
A 36 -year -old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been detained and detectives said they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with death.
The formal identity is not yet and a post -mortem examination will be done later.
