Bernley has signed a two -year contract from Manchester City Defender Kail Walker.
Wright-Back completed his medical on Friday and will re-work with Head Coach Scott Parker, which he played for two sessions in Tottenham Hotspur.
The 35 -year -old performed 15 demonstrations in the first half of the last season for the city before joining AC Milan in January, but the Italian club decided not to make its move permanent.
Walker won 17 trophies during his time at Etihad Stadium and was part of the Treble winning squad in 2023.
He signed for the city in summer of 2017 and performed 319 for the club.
Bernley was promoted back to the Premier League in the previous season following his allegations in 2024.
Walker is his fifth signature in summer, after the arrival of defender Axle Tuanzebe, left-back quilindsy heartman, goalkeeper Max Weiss and French Winger Loom Tachuna.
