The National Guard was deployed in Texas on Friday, when a disastrous river flood killed more than a dozen people and drowned dozens of children in a local Christian camp.
The Gwadalup river increased by about 30 feet in 45 minutes due to heavy rains on Friday morning.
Officials confirmed that at least 13 people were killed, including adults and children.
According to Texas Lieutenant Gove Dan Patrick, at least 20 children participating in the Camp Mystic are missing. The camp, which had more than 750 present, is being diverted through a helicopter.

Ellen Torrenzo told Fox News Digital that her daughter, Gita Tornzo, is one of the campers that went missing during the floods.
Carrie Hannah also confirmed Fox Digital that her daughter is unaware of Hadli.

Patrick urged the parents of the campers to avoid driving in the area, due to indiscriminate roads.
Patrick said, “I know if it was one of my children, I would like to drive me there with Houston.” “Once we are able to clean some of the roads when the rain stops, we have 10 buses ready to go and take children, and we will find a point … where you can re -connect with your child and can re -connect with your child and hug them. Because you know that they are frightened.”
