A Congress intern at Washington, DC was shot dead on Monday night.
An 21-year-old student Eric Torpinion-Jachim died at the Massachusetts Amharst University, when he was shot at the 7th Street, 1200 blocks of Northwest at around 10:28 pm on Monday night, according to the police, and died on Tuesday. An adult woman and a 16 -year -old man were also shot and taken to local hospitals.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, several persons got out of a car and started firing on a group of people. Officials said Tarpinian-Jachim is not considered the desired target of shooting.
A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the Trump administration would ensure justice for Torpinion-Cachim.
“President Trump was re-selected to make America safe, and he is empowering his justice department, federal, state and local law enforcement, and prosecutors to justify violent criminals and give justice to grieving families, such as the family of Eric Torpinian-Cachim,” the spokesman said. “This administration will ensure that complete justice is served and is tirelessly trying to end the insensitive murder of innocent life at the hands of those who want to do heinous work. Ishwar can bless Eric’s memory, and bless God and maintain his loved ones.”

One of Torpinian-Jachim’s friends, Philip Peterson told Fox News Digital that he was “a very easy person to live around.”
“We met in early January and we actually started hitting things,” Peterson said. “After the program we discussed the formation of roommates, but I did not want to go back to DC because I hate the culture so much. Unfortunately it fell through it. I legally regret that I am no longer going back to DC, so I could spend more time with my friend.”
