Washington National Outfielder James Wood became the third player to make the announcement, he will participate in the 2025 Home Run Derby.
The Derby will take place on 14 July on the night before the all-star game at Trust Park in Atlanta. Wood Bahadur outfielders Ronald Akuna Junior and Meriners Catcher are involved in Cal Rale, who leads Major with 33 Homeers in the competition.
Wood won 11–7 over Detroit Tigers on Thursday night with his 23rd home run for 5 days for his first career 5.
He is the third national player to participate in the Home Run Derby to join Juan Soto (2022) and Bryce Harper (2013 and ’18).
“I mean it’s good. It’s certainly special,” Wood said about his selection. “This is not something that many people do not get to do so, I am just super respectable and excited for it.”
The 22 -year -old wood has 12 Homer which is more difficult than 110 mph. This is the second highest in the league behind 13 of the Dojers superstar Shohei Ohtani. Wood also has four which have gone for more than 445 feet.
In August 2022, Wood was obtained from San Diego as part of the blockbuster deal, which sent Soto to Padress.
