Among the online backlash against Soham Parekh, the Indian software developer accused of working secretly for several American startups at a time, the founder of an AI Startup has taken a different view by offering him a job.
While most part of the Internet has been important for Parekh’s alleged functions, AI Company, Hyperspell founder Conner Brann-Bark said he believes in other occasions. He said, “He has definitely learned his lesson now and is going to work hard to prove everyone wrong. A large -scale opportunity to bring top talents with a chip on his shoulder,” he wrote.
Burke also shared an email written to Parekh, which gives him an engineering role in his company. “Hi Soham, seen that you have worked with quite successful startups and heard that you can be on the market. We are hiring engineers right now. Let me know if you are open for a casual chat next week,” read the e-mail.
Sharing the e-mail, Burke commented: “When others are frightened, you are greedy.”
Although the founder of AI was discouraged from hiring Indian technology, a user warned him against hiring “low-unconvincing people”. “Everyone is entitled to another occasion. Let’s be a part of his redemption chap,” he replied.
