The California police faced a woman’s 93 count of animal cruelty after discovering more than 130 weak cats, of which 28 were dead, crammed inside a U-Hall van over the weekend.
A deputy was sent to a deputy to a Taco Bell parking lot in California to investigate the welfare of several cats in a van.
On arrival, he could see at least 20 distressed cats through the vehicle window, according to an Instagram post from the Merced County Sheriff Office.

Animal control officers were then called, and they discovered 106 weak cats and 28 dead cats inside the U-Hall van. There was no food or water inside the vehicle, the Meer County Sheriff Office noted.
California’s nudist accused the neighbors of killing and drowning their dog.
Cats, who were aged at the age of one week to 8 years of age, were taken to the Merced County Animal Shelter.
The owner of the animals was identified as 69 -year -old Jenny Maxon of Long Beach, who was arrested in 93 cases of animal cruelty. According to the Meer County Sheriff Office, the investigation is active.

In social media posts, the Mead County Sheriff Office reminded the public about the dangers of leaving animals in vehicles during the summer months.

The office of the Mead County Sheriff wrote on Instagram, “On a warm day, the temperature inside a car can rise to an extreme level in a few minutes, even open of windows.” “This can lead to death of heatstroke, dehydration, and even the animals left inside. Please make sure that when you are traveling with your pets, they are provided with a cool place, which offers a lot of shadows, lots of water and food.”

Once they are clinically cleaned, the saved animals will be available for adoption.
In a similar case, a woman from New York was arrested and 10 dead animals and other neglected pets were found inside her house with animal cruelty and other crimes earlier this year.
The Mead County Sheriff Office did not immediately respond to the request of Fox News Digital for comment.
