President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he would give awards to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani from the Presidential Medal of Independence.
“As the President of the United States, I am happy to declare that the greatest mayor in the history of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, and an equally great American Patriot, will receive the presidential medal of the highest civilian honor of our country,” Trump wrote on the truth social. “Description of details in the form of time and place. The announcement was made a day after Giuliani was seriously injured in a car accident in New Hampshire.
