Tirupati: Anti -Tamil Nadu Terrorism Squad (ATS) Sleiths arrested two absconding terrorist suspects in Annamaya district of Andhra Pradesh. Acting on specific intelligence, a special team of Tamil Nadu ATS caught Abubaikar Siddiq and his close Mohammad Ali alias Yunus/Mansoor on their hideout in Annamaya district. Both Abubaikar Siddiq and Mohammad Ali took a reward of Rs 5 lakh and are now run for three decades.Nagor native of Nagor in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, Abubaikar is a prominent accused in many high profile terrorists registered in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka states.Abubaikar was involved in an explosion executed in 1995 at the Hindu Munnani Office (RSS affiliation), a parcel bomb blast in a parcel bomb blast in Nagor in 1995, killing a Thangam Muthukrishnan. He was also accused in a coordinated bomb blasts targeting police facilities in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in 1999. Abubakar was also accused in an attempt to plant a pipe bomb during the Rath Yatra of former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani in Madurai in 2011. Abubaikar in 2012 at Vellore. Arvind Reddy was also a suspect in the murder of Arvind Reddy and also in the blasts at the BJP local office in Malleshwaram, Bangalore. Similarly, Mohammad Ali, an explosive expert, was also a prominent accused in TN and coordinated blasts targeting police facilities in Kerala in 1999.The pair, which has been on run for three decades, was eventually nominated by TN ATS police, and was transferred to Tamil Nadu amid tight security. He will be presented to the Judicial Magistrate for remand to keep him in custody by Tamil Nadu ATS.
