The Emirates is expanding its premium economy service in four major cities of the Middle East and West Asia, with a new wave of the next generation aircraft deployment. As part of its large -scale retrophit program, airline updated A350s, A380s, and Boeing 777s are characterized by fresh interiors and its high -rated premium economy cabins. The move aims to meet the increasing demand for elevated travel experiences and ensure stability of fleet in global routes.
Strategic aircraft deployment starts from October 2025
From October 26, 2025, Emirates will introduce new aircraft configurations on several high-travel routes:
- Amman (ek903/904):
Emirates will conduct both daily flights and use fresh interiors including fresh internal cabin using four-class Airbus A380 from Amman. Upgrade ensures that passengers experience products on the latest ship of Emirates on every Amman flight. - Mumbai (EK504/505):
A retrofitted Boeing 777 will start service on this route from 26 October 2025. With 22 weekly flights for the commercial capital of India, passengers will now have more likely to fly in the updated cabins of Emirates. - Muscat (ek862/863):
From October 30, 2025, Airbus A350 will be deployed on the route every Thursday and Saturday, which will complete the rollout of A350 experience in all nine weekly flights for Omani Capital. - Bahrain (ek833/834):
From December 4, 2025, an additional retrofitted Boeing 777 will be introduced every Thursday. With this, all flights to Bahrain will be operated with the Emirates aircraft, especially with premium economy and updated business class cabin.
Premium economy rapidly offer scales
These new aircraft assignments are part of the widespread effort of Emirates to broaden the footprint of their premium economy, both in access and frequency. The airline now operates 635 weekly flights equipped with premium economy cabin.
- By the winter season of 2025, Emirates will fly in 68 cities, which will feature premium economy.
- Among them, 36 destinations will be specially served by a plane configured with this cabin.
- By the end of 2025, the Emirates projects will offer more than 2 million premium economy seats annually, currently a jump from 1.8 million is available in its network.
One of Aviation’s largest retrofit projects
The extended premium economy is being enabled through one of the most ambitious aircraft upgradation programs in aviation history. Emirates is upgrading his fleet at an impressive speed:
- 67 aircraft have already been renewed.
- Retrophiting is happening at the rate of an aircraft every three weeks.
- The goal is to re -prepare 219 aircraft, including:
- 110 Airbus A380s
- 109 Boeing 777
In addition to the retrofit initiative, Emirates is currently operating nine airbus A350s, serving 15 destinations worldwide, which is experiencing a new ship in a growing number of passengers.
