Miami Dolphin ended with a record of 8–9 in the previous season and failed to qualify for the NFL playoffs. The disappointing year lowered Ire from some loyalty of Dolphin.
Dolphin General Manager Chris Grier spoke to the media on Wednesday, a day after the team trimmed the roster to 53 from the league deadline. Grier talked about the general structure of the roster entering the 2025 campaign and also touched the position of specific players as a week 1 draw.
But the media session took a turn when Grier revealed that Fan Angest had emailed his children.

Grier admitted that the previous season was over.
“And if I was comfortable and saying that I felt what are the things, then I am A-H — because I am not realistic about where we are as a team and where are things going … After last season. Grier was elevated in Dolphin’s General Manager Post in 2016. He joined the franchise in 2000 as a scout.
As it belongs to suppressing roster cases, Grier confirmed that cornerback cam Smith would start a regular season on a non-football injury list. Smith appeared in six matches during the 2024 season.

Grier made a positive update against Indianapolis Colts for running the availability of Davon Achne for a season opener. Achne has recently been struggling with a calf injury.
Grier told reporters on Wednesday, “All indications for us are that good weeks will be ready for 1.”
