Argentina has reduced the journey for Indian citizens with American visas, allowing entry without an Argentina visa, the country’s ambassador to India said on Wednesday.
Ambassador Mariano Cocino called the move “amazing news for both Argentina and India” and said that the country is ready to welcome more Indian visitors to experience its culture and beautiful beauty.
Marriano Cocino wrote in a post on X, “The Argentina government has reduced entry into the country for Indian citizens with American visas. The resolution published in the official gazette allows Indian citizens to enter the United States without the need to apply for an Argentina Visa with tourism visa.”
He said, “This is a wonderful news for both Argentina and India. We are ready to welcome more Indian tourists in our amazing country.”
Visa Declaration deepens cooperation in many areas of India and Argentina.
In July, the two countries held a second Joint Working Group Meeting on Agriculture in New Delhi, in which the Indian co-chairman Devash Chaturvedi, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and the Department of Farmers Welfare, in which it was virtually participated.
During the meeting, Devesh Chaturvedi stressed that Argentina is a prominent partner for India, which highlights the partnership formed on cooperation, knowledge sharing and exchange of technologies and best practices. He said that opportunities in agricultural mechanization, insect management, climate-flexible farming and joint research initiatives.
