A 69 -year -old woman died on Wednesday after being shot on a face on New York City Street in daylight.
The New York Police Department told Fox News Digital that the woman was shot at the 110th Street and Madison Avenue corner at around 12:25 pm.
The unknown assailant ran away. The woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.

Crystal Grant told Fox 5 NY He saw that the woman was being taken to an ambulance on a stretcher, and everyone in the neighborhood started praying.
He said the victim was “shot in the middle of the bullets.”
“Mayor Adams, you told us that you will preserve us in this community. You are focusing on some wrong things,” Grant said, referring to Mayor Eric Adams, which is in the middle of a difficult re -election campaign.

“When we lose our elders, we lose our community,” she continued.
A witness said that she was “surprised” that it happened on the 110th Street.
“To be 12 o’clock in the afternoon? It’s crazy,” another witness told The News Station.

NYPD said the victim’s name has not been released, and investigators have not disclosed a motive for fatal shoots.
