It is not every day that you see people leaving a million-dollar jobs. Nevertheless, Rishabh Aggarwal, who joined the Superintending Team of Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta AI five months ago, allegedly resigned from the company, leaving his seven-centered salary to pursue “different risks”.
The scientist took the X to the X, which was previously known as Twitter, to declare that he is actually leaving the meta. He said, “This is my last week on @Aaitmeta. It was a difficult decision that the new superintendent should not continue with TBD lab, especially given talent and calculation density.
He said that the pitch of Mark Zuckerberg and Alexander Wang (Chief AI Officer of Mata) was really very compelling to form a superintending team, but finally he followed Mark’s advice that says, “The biggest risk that you can take is not taking any risk in a world that is changing so fast.”

Rishabh Aggarwal also expanded the major works and achievements held in Mata. He said that he helped push the 8-bit dense model near Deepsek R1 performance with RL Scaling. Subsequently, he used synthetic data in mid-training to heat RL. He also helped in developing better on-policy distillation methods.
For Bin calling, the Meta Superintendent Team has been one of the main focus of CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the last few months, and Meta has allegedly offered multi-Million-Dolla contracts to many people to rent top talent from rivals.

Rishabh Aggarwal, before joining the meta, already working with several large-nam companies in technology including Internship in Tower Research Capital, SAAVN, Waymo, and then played full-time roles in the Meta Superintendent and then the Meta Superintendent (Research Scientist).
Rishabh Aggarwal studied for graduation in Computer Science Engineering (Air 33 in JEE Exam) in IIT Bombay and later received a doctorate in Computer Science from the mixed AI Institute. As the most recent part of his career switch, he moved to Meta in April 2025 earlier this year, for which Meta was reportedly compensating him with a million dollar salary.
