A former teacher at Michigan Charter School allegedly had sex with a 16 -year -old student and told a colleague about it according to officials.
26 -year -old Joclin Sanarman was accused of third degree sexual conduct, Fox 2.
The alleged sex took place in 2023 when there was a teacher at the Sanrooman Oakside Prep Academy, a charter school in the Waterford Township, located about 30 miles from the city Detroit.
The Sanrooman was not done until Monday morning, but his Magshot was posted by the depot in Okland County.

Sanman told another teacher about his sexual relationship with the teenage boy, and the teacher informed him to the police, the prosecutors said, according to Fox 2, the prosecutors said.
“This defendant is accused of using his own position to take advantage of a minor victim,” said Oklaland County prosecutor Karen McDonald. “These allegations represent the final violation of the trust given by the parents and the community in the teachers.”
“As a former teacher, I appreciate the teacher who approached the police about this situation, to protect other students from further exploitation,” he said.
McDonald’s said that a 16 -year -old man can agree, but this is not the same when the relationship is with a teacher.
McDonald’s said, “This is because we need to make the school the safest place, it can be for children, correct? Gun safe from violence, secured from attack, secured from attacks,” said McDonald’s. “The school is considered to be some place where your children feel safe.”
If convicted, Sanarman may face a jail of up to 15 years.

School officials said the allegations were harassing and worked soon after knowing about the allegations.
The school said in a statement to Fox 2, “We try to provide a safe and auxiliary learning environment for the students assigned for our care. Their safety and welfare remains our top priority.”
The school’s website stated that the Oakside Prep Academy is part of the National Heritage Academy System, which claims its “moral focus” lessons that help students appreciate the difference between right and wrong, “the school website said.
“Our K-12 course includes a strong moral attention, including perseverance, respect, compassion and courage, in daily activities,” reads the website. “Each month, students focus on a different aspect of moral development, create their understanding from introduction to connection, reflection and application. This method promotes self -awareness, sympathy and flexibility, which helps them to flourish within a nutrition school community in their entire K -12 journey.”
