American military fighter Jets were on Tuesday scuffled to track a Russian espionage aircraft, flying near Alaska, North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad).
It was the fourth time in less than a week when the military command has detected and tracked a Russian IL-20 Coot, a Cold War-era-era-era-era-era, in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), which is a section of international aircraft, which according to Norad, requires a ready-based recognition of all aircraft in the interest of national security.
The military command said that the same type of Russian aircraft flew into the area on August 20, August 21 and 24.
In each of the four examples, Norad responded with his own fighter jets to track the detective aircraft.

In the latest detection on Tuesday, Norad scored an e -3 sentry, two F -16 and a KC -135 tanker to track the detective aircraft.
Norad said that the Russian military aircraft lived in the international airspace and did not enter the American or Canadian sovereign airspace, saying that such Russian activity in Alaska Adiz regularly takes place and is not seen as danger.
The military command said, “Nord has appointed satellites, ground-based and airborne radars and a layered defense network of fighter aircraft to detect and track the aircraft and inform proper tasks. “Nord is ready to employ many response options in defense of North America.”

In July, Norad shared images of American fighter jets disrupting Russian military aircraft inside Adiz.
Other detention of Russian military aircraft in ADIZ this year took place twice in April and in February, when Norad said F-35 Lightning II fighter Jet intercepted two Russian TU-95 and 2 SU-35 military aircraft in ADIZ.
In all these previous examples, Norad said that the Russian aircraft remained in the international airspace.
