Animated Musical KPOP Danav Hunters have climbed the chart of “Up, Up, Up” Netflix to become their most viewed film, Streaming platform says,
Since its release in June, the film has been viewed more than 236 million times, which has overtaken the action comedy red notice to take the top position.
It is the latest in a series of chart-topping achievements by the film that has become a stunning global hit.
The songs of the film have also been the most streams online on Spotify, while the track golden hit number one on Billboard Hot 100 earlier this month.
Manufactured by Sony Pictures Animation, the KPOP demon hunter follows the thrill of fictional K-Pop Girl Band Huttr/X as its three members use their music and fighting skills to protect humans from demons.
It was launched in June with a relatively low-key premiere at Netflix’s Tudam Theater at Los Angeles.
But in summer, the film gained momentum through the word mouth, promoting viral videos and memes on social media.
Many have praised it for its eye -catching animation and depiction of both traditional and modern Korean culture.
But the biggest attraction for many people has been the attractive ke-pap song of the film. Some producers and lyricists of Soundtrack are veterans of the K-Pop industry who have worked with groups like BTS and two times.
The film’s Korean-Canadian co-director Maggi Kang had earlier said that he wanted the film’s music to “really incredible and actually talk to K-Pop fans and legally fit in the K-pop space”.
Capital on the popularity of songs, Netflix released a song together in theaters in the US, Canada, Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
It gave Netflix its first number one film at the US box office.
It has since released a singing version worldwide on its platform.
Several songs on Soundtrack have since entered the top 10 of the global chart of Spotify, with Golden currently still at number one.
This track is at the top of the US Spotified Chart in different times, Hunter/X’s staunch enemies in the film, decorated by boys.
It has made Hunter/X and decorated boys the most charting women and male ke-pap groups in history-crossing the world-life-pap jugarnats BTS and Blackpink.
The KPOP demon Hunteers Soundtrack has also become the first person to be the top 10 hits at the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously.
The conversation about the sequel of a film is allegedly in the early stages.
