Saudi Arabia has launched Human Chat, a converted AI app completely developed within the state, a major milestone in the ambitions of the region’s artificial intelligence. Made by Public Investment Fund (PIF) and built on the Allam 34B Large Language model, the stage is designed to serve Arabic speakers with linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance and sovereign data control.

Human chat is the first product of Human, a fully owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The company was founded in May 2025 with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman with the strategic purpose of Saudi Arabia as a global center for artificial intelligence-with a specific attention to the abilities of Arabic language.The launch of Human Chat enters the global AI landscape with a sovereign, culturally grounded and technically advanced offer in Saudi Arabia’s global AI landscape. The app is powered by Allam 34B, the major Arabic large language model of Human, which the company has described as the most advanced Arabic AI model ever.Initially available on iOS, Android and web platforms, the application has been rolled out for the first time in Saudi Arabia, with a regional expansion in the Middle East and then a global release.According to CEO Tarek Amin (east Rakuten Symphony), Human Chat represents a “historic milestone” in the construction of AI that reflects Saudi values, infrastructure and talent. Technology – Manufactured for Arabic speakers, designed for global relevance
Allam stands at the core of 34B Human Chat. This large language model has been developed by land in Saudi Arabia, including more than 120 AI experts, including 35 PhD-levels. Researchers and a team are balanced in gender (50% women). The model was trained on one of the largest Arabic datasets ever and then refined with inputs from over 600 domain experts and 250 evaluages.The major features of Human Chat include:
