The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a political slugfest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on Tuesday after a raid at the residence of former minister Saurabh Bhardwaj in connection with the money laundering investigation related to alleged irregularities in the national capital.
After the raid, AAP hit ED and Unary government. Meanwhile, the BJP has welcomed the raid against the AAP MLA, accusing Kejriwal of being “corrupt in all areas” on the former Delhi government.
AAP inspired the case fake, politically
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia claimed that the action of the Central Agency was to draw the attention of the people from the degree case of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Manisha Sisodia said that at the time when Ed registered a case in the case, Saurabh Bhardwaj was not even a minister of Delhi.
Sisodia alleged, “Saurabh was raided to divert attention from Modi ji’s degree. At the time when the case was filed, Saurabh Bhardwaj was also not a minister. The whole matter is wrong. It is clear from the case of Satyendar Jain that false cases were registered against AAP leaders,” Sicrosia said.
AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said that the ED raid at Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence is another case of the Central Government, which is “misusing” the agencies. He said that no party has targeted AAP like BJP in the past. He said that action is being taken as the AAP is “the most vocal voice” against the Center.
“Ed raids in Saurabh Bhardwaj’s house are another case of Modi government misused agencies. The Modi government has gone after the Aam Aadmi Party. The way” AAP “is being targeted, it has never been done for any party in history.” AAP “is being targeted. Kejriwal wrote on ‘X’.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh called the registered case “wrong” and “baseless” against Saurabh Bhardwaj. He said that the central government records false cases against AAP leaders and jailed them as part of “policy”.
“The case registered against Saurabh Bhardwaj is false and baseless. He was not a minister in the time limit in which the ED had registered a case … It is a policy of the Modi government to file false cases against AAP leaders and to save them from jail, to mode to modify all the leaders of the PM. Sanjay Singh said in a self-made video.
Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Atisi claimed that the cases against AAP leaders are “false and politically motivated”. He cited the Central Investigation Bureau of Investigation (CBI) closure report, which is in the PWD corruption case against Satyendra Jain.
“The case is being cited that even when Saurabh ji was not a minister, it still means that the whole matter is baseless. Satyendra ji was also kept in jail for three years, and eventually, CBI/Ed had to submit a closure report. It clearly shows that all cases against Aam Aadmi Party leaders are only misinformed and politically inspired,”
BJP welcomed the raid against Saurabh Bhardwaj
On the other hand, BJP leaders welcomed the ED raid against AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj.
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa alleged that the AAP government in Punjab is “looting” to the state.
“Ed has raided the residence of AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj in connection with the construction scam of the hospital. Thousands of crores of rupees were carried out in the name of construction of 13 hospitals. AAP has gone to Punjab and is robbing Punjab with both hands.
BJP leader Harish Khurana said that all departments of Arvind Kejriwal -led government in Delhi have been found involved in corruption.
“Ed has raided 13 places including Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence regarding the construction scam of the hospital. This is another case of corruption against the tenure of the AAP in Delhi. Each department of the government headed by Arvind Kejriwal has been included in corruption.”
On the basis of a certain tip-off in relation to the case, raids started on Tuesday morning at 13 places including Bhardwaz residence in Delhi-NCR region. Search operations are being conducted under Section 17 of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
These discoveries “belong to the FIR (No. 37/2025) on June 26, 2025 with the information report of the enforcement case recorded in the Delhi Hospital’s construction scam, which is against the health ministers of GNCT, registered by the E-Bhush corruption branch (ACB), Delhi Police, with private contractors and unknown government. ,
