First on Fox: A new campaign was launched on Monday to help fulfill the pledge of President Donald Trump to reduce the fennel overdose deaths, which is one of the country’s deadliest public health crises.
A campaign called Make America Fentaneel Free has been described on national and local television as a private-funded multi-military-dollar advertisement blitz and all major social media platforms including X, Instagram, YouTube, Ticketk and Facebook.
The effort, which was first shared with Fox News Digital on Monday, is aimed at reducing the number of Americans killed by Fantenl, a highly powerful and highly dangerous synthetic opioid. Phantanne and Phantanl-related drugs are responsible for most drug overdose deaths in the US for almost a decade.
The organizers said in a statement, “Make America was started to support President Trump’s efforts to protect the US life from the deadly fentaneyl, which has been a major cause of death for Americans between 18 and 45 years of age.”
