Citing official sources, India has warned Pakistan about the possible floods in the Tawi River about the possible floods in the Pakistan River. Even the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) remains suddenly after the Pahalgam terror attack, the report claimed that India contacted Pakistan to share information about the possible floods.A report of news, which cited sources, claimed that India on Sunday warned through its high yoga in Islamabad. However, neither New Delhi nor Islamabad have released official confirmation. The report further states that such information is usually shared through the Indus Water Commissioners under the Treaty of 1960. This is considered the first important contact after the India-Pakistan conflict in May. After alert received from India, Pakistani authorities have allegedly issued a warning for weak areas.Following the Pahalgam attack, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, a World Bank-Brokard Treaty that shares the partition of the Indus river system as part of punitive measures against Pakistan.Recently, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) issued a new advisory warning of heavy rains in most parts of the country till August 30. The warning follows the first monsoon mantra between 26 June and 20 August, killing at least 788 people and injuring more than 1,000 in Pakistan.
